Half way through week 1

Hello All,
We are half way through week 1! Very exciting. This message will be full of admin tasks, so sit tight:

1) There are 24 of your in the subject, but I only have Google Account information for 10 fo you! For those that have added their information - thanks! For the rest of you, try to get this done by the end of the week (Friday night), as I'm going to limit access to the blog.

2) Remember Activity 1 is due on August 7th. This needs to be posted to your blog. Please review the permissions link in 'link to tools' in Janison or the Resources document in Google Docs, to see how to do this. As Activity 1 needs to be posted to your blog, you'll need to set up a blog. Note - this does not need to be the final blog set up for Assessment 1. You can change it as you go along. In fact, it's expected you will change it as you learn.

3) We will be having a bi-weekly group chat to answer any questions about assignments or weekly tasks. This group chat will alternate in weeks with EDGE904. I'm doing this because many of you are taking both subjects and I think it would be a bit much to have several chats a week, along with your other subjects. If we need additional chats, we can schedule them. This said --> bi-weekly chats will be Monday night 830pm - 930pm, starting on August 8th.

4) We will also have bi-weekly F2F meetings. These are mandatory for international students and optional for everyone else. These will also alternate with EDGE904. These meetings will be Tuesdays, 11am - 12pm in the CRC-Fishbowl (22.102). These will start on August 2nd. If additional meetings are needed, we can schedule them as we go.

5) You should have received an invitation to the subject Diigo group. Please activate your account. We will be using this to collect resources throughout the term.

6) I'll be posting some clarification on Assignment 1 in the Google Doc. If you have submitted your Google details to the group spreadsheet, I've added you. If you haven't, send your details and I'll give you access.
